I had a problem with the incorrect Employer ID number and was quickly notified to fix it and resend my return. That was quite valuable, both quantitative and speed of refund.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only difficult part was during the review process when a screen tells you what to verify without any clue how to correct it - get to submission and it's the reason for not being able to efile. Still don't know what I corrected by removing that page and reentering the information just as I had done before. First time this has been an issue after using the program for multiple years.

The software works fine especially with my somewhat complicated income. BUT I preordered the software and never was able to download or figure out or see a link. I ended up buying the software twice which I did not appreciate. Might use a different provider next year or may wait until the software is available for immediate download. I haven't decided yet.

I found H&R's Deluxe software clear and easy to work with. The price was competitive and it easily transferred the previous years data from a competitor's product...making for a relatively easy tax preparation period. I did have to research online as to whether the Deluxe program still processed investment data. The advertisement description wasn't clear. i was also confused momentarily looking for the "Next.' I didn't realize at first that I had to scroll past the image of the actual 1040 return to find it. A minor point but I prefer to have it visible at the end of the questions...not the 1040 graphic.

I bought this months ago and had trouble updating it. It kept repeating the update. So,I put it away and figured out eventually they'd get the update right. Sure enough, When I opened my File a few weeks later, it worked and my taxes were done in a few minutes.

I bought 2024 Federal and State software. I have used H&R Block Deluxe for a number of years. I used to fill out manually before. The software makes it easy to complete without forgetting anything. E-filings are easy and quick for Federal and State returns.
