Very disappointed in this year's version. I like that I can import W2s. PDF worked but picture did not. Please accept more formats. I don't understand how the name of the W2 owner does not import. The program does not ask for name and address until the final validation step. There is no way to enter it earlier. If name and address cannot be identified please add a field in the interview. Do not default to the primary taxpayer for the question whose W2 is this-too easy to miss if not a required answer. In investments, the program entered a value of 0 for foreign tax and then gave a validation error for that entry. Finally, I need to be able to copy text from the program. I had an issue with the IRS rejecting a return-someone else used a dependent's SSN. I had to copy the web site address to file for a taxpayer pin. I should have been able to copy that address and not risk errors in toggling back and forth to manually enter it. I also want to be able to copy driver's license number from last year and not have to gather licenses before filing.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

The emphasis on Puerto Rican citizens to claim the earned income credit is confusing. Also, didn't see the correct form for a clean energy car sent with my tax return. Hopefully they don't come back to me.

I’ve used this for five years only because it saves my past information. I don’t find it a user friendly as Tax Act that I used for many years until it became more expensive than I wanted to pay. I used Turbo Tax before that it was also more user friendly and became more expensive. Just my honest opinion and I most likely will use it again if it is still reasonably priced.

I used the Deluxe version to do my taxes and my Mom:s taxes. The software was not easy to use for my IRA QCD and my Mom's Long term care insurance inputs. The price was good but the user interface needs work.
Cons: Hard to prepare

We have used Tax Cut very successfully for well over a decade. This year, the Deluxe made what must have been a software error re: Excess Accumulation, Form 5329 that was only resolved with magic and good luck. It also prevented e-file until it disappeared. This year, that would have been a serious handicap. It ended well after several hours.
