When I downloaded data from a financial institution, I expected it to flow to all areas that the institution impacted. That is, if there are dividends and interest payments, I found I had to download that information separately for each.

Over the past several years I've used many different tax softwares but in my opinion H&R Blocks is the easiest and best. It may not be the cheapest but makes up for it in it's simplicity. Plug in info it's checked and help is a button away if needed. Easy peasy.
