It gets the job done, but the process could be improved.
To start with provide a series of check boxes up front that permit the opting out of any areas where no information will be entered and skip any questions concerning these items. You might make a check of the previous year's form (if available) and if any item in the current form is opted out but has been used in the previous form, advise the user.
Also ask up front if a third party has 1099 and/or stock information that will be downloaded. If they do, download that information before requesting information on 1099s that were not included in the download.
As an Arizona resident I use the Arizona forms 323 and 348 to donate money for private school tuition, but your software does not include the 348 form which means that I have to go online to download and fill out this form. Please include this form with your state software package.
