I have used this program for years. I have found it fairly easy to use and it’s check for accuracy section prior to filing is reassuring that you have done things as accurately as possible & the chance of being audited is small. It’s nice how it brings information forward from last year’s return & fills that in for you.

Not happy I bought the more expensive version, Deluxe. I used the basic last year and did not have to pay additional taxes like I did this year.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've used the H&R Deluxe software for many years and have always been delighted with it's ease of use but this year when I had to list my RMD things got crazy. The questions and the wording are horrible and I had to call in for support. The program works fine except for the wording of the questions on those couple of screens. The agent that helped me when I called in said I wasn't the first person she talked to with the exact same problem.
Pros: Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!
