Software update process from inside program was broken until about Feb 1. Had to use website download to update. I've been using HRBlock for several years and this was the first time program update was broken. Software should not be released if not ready for use.

Had some small problems but help site solved them

Very easy to use and would recommend the product. Only one problem. It appears the IRS process my claim being they deducted tax owed them from my acct. only after 5 days and yet you still show status as Accepted .I am presuming my Federal tax is COMPLETED now. Even though you show only Accepted

Have used this software for over 10 years. Everything worked as advertised. That being said, you found a way to make more money off the backs of those that cannot afford a CPA. The fee for Pay1040 is NOT disclosed until after you receive "has been accepted" eMail. Having an activation code used to be the "cure all" that covered "all expenses". Now you sneak in a procedure charge that is not identified in dollar amount, until all processing is completed. Not sure I am going to continue using HRBlock software until this charge is removed and you go back to being the company I remember. Shame on you. Yes, you are correct, this is going out through social media.
Pros: Easy to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
