Simple and easy

This program asks questions and you simply fill in the blanks (your tax information for the tax year). It does all the calculating and before you know it, you are finished. I have two businesses (and keep a lot of receipts) and have always used these programs and fared really well. I figure there is no reason to pay someone else to enter the same tax information I can enter on my own and save a ton of money.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Mac version keeps crashing.

this is very aggravating software.
Whenever i tried to download any info from a outside source the program would just crash
and loose any data i have entered. W2 ,dividends,brokerage nothing worked so i had to enter
everything manually.
I have used H&R block for years and every year i have at least 1 or 2 crashes
while doing my taxes. This year was the worst

Quick, Easy and Thorough

I have been using H&R Block tax software for several years, and found it to be intuitively easy to work through finding those deductions so easily over-looked, with great help sections when needed.

I have been an H&R Block software user for many years. I have never had an issue. Simple instructions and E-file is great. My daughter received her return in a little over a week.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
