This is my fifth year using H&R Block Deluxe software. It may be my last. The guaratee of correct returns seems to be only a guarantee that the numbers add up. I had a hard time entering information for MRDs and ended by deleting a form that I had filled in but that was not the one to use. Some of the updates I needed to add as tax 1099s came in required me to through the questions format rather than just changing a number on a form line.
The charge for e-filing state taxes always come as an annoyance when they are filed.
However,for the most part the program is straight forward and moderately easy to use.

I have used the H&R Block software for many years. Back in the 1980's I even took the Block tax course. It was all written forms and a huge procedure textbook, thank goodness for computers, software and e-filing. A friend recently asked me what program I used since he was fed up with Turbo tax. I recommended he try H&R Block Deluxe software.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!
