There is an error in the interview process with regards to schedule K1's that has been there for two years of use in this product. You have to do that before anything else to get it to work. Also, for the State (SC) part of it, the interview is also in the Federal part, you have to search for the form for state, then fill in the form. Can not get to it any other way. I have called this error in and did a review on it already. Company is not listening.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using this for many years and it has consistently worked for me.
A suggested change (learned the hard way): When importing tax data from your financial custodian (e.g. Fidelity), it correctly imports 1099-INT, and other 1099s, but it does not import 1099-MISC at all. A better method would be to import the 1099-MISC and then flag the user to then add more information on how to further proceed with the data.
Pros: Easy to prepare
