I started using H&R Tax Software about 11 years ago when my computer would no longer support Turbo Tax software. I found H&R Block's software quick and easy to use and so I stuck with it for all these years. It's simple to download and use and must be accurate as I've never heard anything back from the IRS.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I've used Block software for several years and appreciate its lower price and straightforward features. As clergy, I am entitled to a "housing allowance" which the software realizes. I do fear that a clergy person without an adequate understanding of his/her situation might make mistakes in this specific context. I also wish we could come to the day when there is no extra charge for filing the state return.
