It's overall a good program. But the IRS has allowed taxpayers to summarize the sales on Form 8949, even when they have adjustments such as wash sales, since 2015. See the discussion of Code M in the Form 8949 instructions. The HRB program has no provision for Code M. Thus, a taxpayer who has for example, 10 stock sales, only one of which has a wash sale adjustment, has to enter 10 separate sales instead of simply entering totals.
I've been using this to prepare my taxes for many years. Directions are clear and easy to understand. Leads one step by step through the process with clarification available as needed. Will never go back to the other brand not to be mentioned here. You do need to double check imported w-2. It doesn't always import correctly.
