I've used this program for at least 15 years. It's a good program, but they have cut one thing out that I really liked. In the past the mailed me a program disk or I received a e-mail with a link to get the program. This past year I received nothing. I would think you would like to keep a loyal customer and make it easy for me to use the program year after year. But I guess not.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

I have used TaxCut for more than 10 years now. Very easy to use. I especially like the way it imports data from the previous year’s return about income and deductions you have used. All of the name, address, and reference numbers are already populated, reducing data entry.

It wanted to give my wife a huge NYS exemption because it thought she had worked for the government but that was not the case. The panel before that step asked if she worked for the government and I checked no. I called twice but nothing changed.

Generally easy to use except entering information from investments, namely stocks and bonds. Then I have to place close attention hoping I followed instructions accurately. So far I haven't been audited for inaccuracies, but I wish I felt more comfortable about it.
