The software said I owed $x, the state said I owed $x+y. I had to pay a late fee. Federal return was good.

When I first purchased it, the activation code included was invalid. I tried several times via email and each code I was given didn't work/was invalid. Eventually, by finding a phone number and talking to a person who spoke English who sent me a link for the program I purchased, I was finally able to do my taxes. The updates came as expected and all ended well.
