I have been using the H&R Block Deluxe software for the past 10 years. I'm in retirement so I need to consider Social Security, RMDs from my IRA, taxes on mutual funds, etc. The program always works flawlessly, and navigation through the steps is simple and logical. And the price is great.

We like using the program only issue is the cost for filing state taxes and all the extra fees if you behave to pay taxes. Other then that it is very easy to use.

I used to have to itemized and do long form. With the Trump tax cuts my late wife and I were so happy to be able to take the standard deductions and use the short form. it has been at least 7 years now and tax time is no longer a headache worried about how long it would be to get things just the way they needed to be to be submitted to the IRS. now 30minutes or less taxes done and filed. This year I had both my state and federal refund checks in my mail box in just 3 weeks!
