Unfortunately, the state program I purchased (Georgia) has resulted in letters from my taxing authority. Not a great experience. The pre "approved" response buttons do not allow users to actually provide feedback outside of this text box.
I use H&R Block cap software every year and find it so easy to use. I simply plug in the information and it gives me the results and if I have a question about a specific field, I simply hover over that field and information pops up to explain it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
still makes some assumptions. did not finish in one sitting had to wait 2 weeks for unneeded (for my rtax return) software update!
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming
