The software is clear and thorough. The interview is logical, yet i f I want to jump around for some reason, I can. My only small complaint was that some of the help information was inaccessible to my screen reader and not always clear when it was.

First and foremost, the automatic updating feature often resulted in crashing the software. Even today, when I open the software, it suggests an update, and nothing happens. Automatic download of Vanguard tax forms failed.
Cons: Hard to import documents

We used the software to prepare our federal and state 2023 returns, plus file amended 2022 federal and 2020, 2021, 2022 state returns. Getting our documents to attach to our state returns would not take, so we were required to file the amended returns via paper/snail mail. We received 4 of the returns' refunds within 30 days but are still waiting on two for final processing.
