I have been using H&R Deluxe tax software for years. It walks me through the tax filing process easily, and I can file online. It remembers all my data from the year before an import it.

I have used this program for several years. I take standard deductions. I have investment income and SS income. No state income tax in Texas. Investment income importing is a bit confusing sometimes with flags about items that the program says that need to be completed or modified. These can be confusing to me, and notes in the program are limited in these cases . I have not had any problems sending in the return electronically and received my refund in due course. I would like to see a simplified federal tax liability forecasting as part of the program for next year withholding estimates

1 Why I cannot use Adobe PDF to see my final tax docs and must use "your" PDF viewer is a big minus. 2 Just start adding state e-submission to the cost - current pricing structure that I "buy" a state e-submission is a big minus.

In our case we download a digital version from the internet every year for several years now, and we have never had a failure.
