federal, I entered my mortgage info., but it got caught on the final review? If it did not have all the needed info, why did it let me get so far? If my mortgaged amount was so far under the cap, why is it making me enter this other stuff anyway??? NYS STAR section needs to ask to use default info from already entered information, instead of making you enter the same info twice...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Final stages confusing. Resulted in filing fees.

The layout and instructions for the final filing were confusing. I thought I had finished since all info and my bank acct details were provided. But somehow the actual submission to IRS was not made by the program. By the time I realized that my return was several weeks late resulting in a penalty even though everything was complete before the deadline and payment was in my bank account awaiting IRS access to same. Next year I'll use another product.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
