The federal return is pretty straight forward and easy to use in my case. I take std deduction and file jointly for the federal return. For our MT state return we do itemized deductions and file as singles. The problem is that imported info from the federal form comes to the state as a combined joint number. I then have to subtract, divide or reinput these numbers for the MT form increasing a chance for error. A lot of these numbers are put in the Federal form as individual entries. Can this be fixed so individual inputs come across to the State form?
I am unable to find a retail version on DVD. Turbo Tax displays are everywhere, are they just empty boxes? I like the hard copy on my shelf, when it comes to the IRS you never know.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I completed my 2023 fed and state returns and although the product is generally satisfactory, the form k-1 does not align well with the info I receive from my financial institution. I would like to be able to import this data. Additionally, although I submitted my returns once, my credit card was charged twice for submission of the state return. Not happy with this!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
