The interview format is straightforward, with links to explanations and clarifications if needed. Takes you where you need to go. All calculations are automatic. Views of tax forms are available.
The one thing that didn't work well - we were experimenting with whether a dependent should be claimed under one person's return vs. another (parents that are not married) - the dependent was entered, and the child tax credit was taken. Later, the dependent was removed but the child tax credit remained, and the software did not flag that as an issue. It should have. You can't take a child tax credit unless you are claiming that child as a dependent. This was submitted with this mistake to the IRS and it caused problems that are still being dealt with - the IRS flagged that dependent as already claimed even though that was not the case, when parent #2 filed. There should at least be a warning that something like that doesn't make sense and force the user to verify when something is changed up front that later options are related to. Thanks!
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using HR Block tax software to do my taxes for the past 10 years.,Tried other popular software but came back to HR Block and have stayed there. Particularly like being abllevto pull forward last year's data without having to retype everything again.
