Disappointed this year. First, failed to implement program change to allow me to easily file with the new July 15 tax deadline. Then, I find they charged my CC account TWICE for the state filing fee.

I ihave been using H&R block software for several years and it always works well.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

To take a common deduction regarding sales tax on a car purchase, I had to go directly to Schedule A and fill it out. I could not get any knowledgeable help from H&R on how to take the deductions from within the shell program.

I had one critical error mssg. I tried the interactive help function.. it couldn't fix it.. "we'll try harder next year" was the response.. let me put that on my return that I manually file... software support caller waiting was over 65 minutes. Smh... btw.. stop mailing the multiple disks to my house every year!!
Cons: Hard to prepare

The program us easy and awesome to use, but having to enter last years Agi is a pain in the butt especially with the covid-19 the irs is not taking calls. Other than that the program is great
