Federal software is generally good. I did find an error in one of the estimated tax worksheets. I reported it, but I didn't check to see if it was later corrected. The state didn't have all the forms I needed available until 3/15, and I had to manually override every entry in one state schedule.
Pros: Fast

Too many updates and calculated tax owe less than IRS. Filling tax via H&R block this year was very painful, confusing and gave me less confidence on the calculated tax

After downloading my financial data from Morgan Stanley I was left with a bunch of confusing entries that kept asking me to recheck the data to make sure it was correct even after I checked it. Why even list the previous year's entries when you download the present year into the program. It is extremely confusing and not user friendly. Also the GUI is confusing and not as clear as TurboTax.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

I have used this tax software for well over 10 years. It makes doing your taxes more pleasurable, since it uses a straight forward and logically progression through the preparation of the tax return. If you forget something it is easily fixable. The only thing I find in it that doesn't work perfectly is the Charitable Deduction tool that helps you figure out the values of donated items. Some bugs in that when you try to add other items not listed.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
