Doing the actual tax return was not difficult at all. I don’t know however that the IRS actually got the return. The software says received but the credit card hasn’t gone through yet and it’s been over two months since I filed.

I know the IRS has made our tax code as murky as possible so that if we get audited they can interpret the rule any which way that suits that particular auditor. Thus H&RBlock has a hard job to account for all the malarkey. BUT some of their descriptions and explanations need more work. The people on the help line try but don't always clear thing up.

Compiles a lot of things automatically. I have SMALL Capital Gains each year when I sell a little stock. Does it correctly (I Hope), saving me a lot of time researching to see if I've interpreted everything properly.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

Deluxe + State, you still need to pay efile fee to complete your return. The US needs to make filing your taxes easier so we can eliminate these middlemen.
Cons: Hard to import documents
