I have been using HRB Deluxe for numerous years, I have never had a problem until now. I can print anything into my printer from my computer except the 2023 tax returns both the fed and state. I don't know what HRB has done to the 2023 software, not happy with HRB, we might switch to another software company for the 2024 taxes.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

HAD trouble filing a final return and was almost forced to mail and not take advantage of the free federal filing. The company offered a discount on next year's program however if I would have gotten a discount next year or the price is raised this promise may be empty.

I have been using H&R tax software for more than 15 years. Very happy with it. One drawback: on the Mac it does not fully load because a library is missing. Every year I have to figure out what library is missing, where it belongs, and create it. It would be nice if the software handled it for me.
