The program works to help get accurate information from all sources. It does require the user to input the information so make sure you have all of your tax reporting forms, W2s, 1099s, social security, etc. But it prompts you for this information. I moved to this platform because it still handles fed and state taxes for the same price though you have to send in the state form by hand to avoid extra costs for e-filing state tax filings.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

Using a tax program provides me with an understanding of the federal and state tax taxable and deductible features and systems. The Transfer of previous information and its use throughout the program is a time saver and input help. Some of my investments and the ending error corrections were somewhat confusing and difficult.
