Each year, it gets more difficult to file electronically due to bugs in the software.
For 2023, the software was very clunky and the process convoluted for filing an extension.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All info from previous years is moved forward. Although the software is thorough, there are times when it would be nice to skip ahead; like when it is clear that you will use a standard deduction rather than itemize - don’t make me answer all the questions when I already know the answer
