I have used the H&R Block product every year since at least 2007. In prior years I used the competitor's product but switched when that product failed to cover certain aspects of my requirements and I have been totally satisfied and happy with the Block product ever since.

Generally easy to use but data conformation becomes tedious (or impractical) when it requires the review of literally hundreds of imported financial transactions.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

Great features for property investment tax returns

Have been using H&R plus state for years. I am now quite familiar with how the software is organized and functions. I appreciate how easy it.makes some complicated tax forms, such as Schedule D, so easy to fill out. Also how simply and quickly it completes my state tax forms. It can also be used to roughly calculate estimates taxes for the next years quarterly returns.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

I did not question the calculations nor try to understand the deductions and maximize refunds, but so far the IRS accepted my returns almost immediately and the returns had not been audited.
