I’ve used this tax software for a number of years. It’s easy to use and creates an accurate tax return. This year however was different. After filing electronically, I got an email from HRB saying that the return had been accepted and the IRS deducted the payment from my bank account. I signed back into the software to print out the return and was surprised to see a message saying that the return hadn’t been filed. I’m not sure what happened.

There are little to no instructions in the section regarding deceased spouse and entering retirement benefits. The software acts differently in this area from year to year (same screens, same data entry, same instructions or lack there of)

My tax is not complicated at all. Previously I had rental properties, even then this software met all my needs. I like it very much because it does the work fully and accurately.
