I've been using this software for at least 2 decades. I tried the competitor one year and did not like it. I have only one personal gripe. During the year, I sometimes have to work out of state a few times a year. My employer generates 2 separate W2 forms for me; one for each state. When I enter all my W2 info, the software sums the state amounts and shows my gross income as more than actual. I've learned how to work around this but since I have to enter the state identifier for each state amount, why can't the software identify the state and use only that state's amount when I do my state return?

As a 20 year user, I've always found Block's software to be very easy to work with. Per the title, this year's update attempt installed a Web Browser Redirect Virus. It took me two days to get rid of it. Besides that the software was great.
