I've used H&R Block for over 15 years but the last three years I tried to file electronically & each time the H&R software inputted the wrong AGI from the prior year, resulting in an IRS rejection. I'm not a happy camper about that! There's a glitch & H&R needs to it!
Cons: Hard to fix issues
Pros: Easy to install
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We started using this software years ago. It has been very useful and helpful. The guidance and tips are intuitive and simple to understand. The filing process was very easy even for the ones who itemize.
Cons: Hard to fix issues, Hard to import
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
I would recommend this to a friend!

Need to add a way we can view Federal return. Amount of medical not allowed on federal is allowed on NM state return and I can't get this without first printing out federal..

MY SPOUSE AND I USED H&R SOFTWARE FOR DOING A JOINT FEDERAL RETURN BUT WHEN I TRIED TO DO A SINGLE STATE RETURN FOR MY SPOUSE THE SOFTWARE DOES NOT LET YOU FILE THAT UNLESS YOU FILE A SINGLE FEDERAL RETURN

First year I've been somewhat disappointed.

I've used this program for years and haven't had any problems. This year on my Minnesota return it wanted to know where my "Extra Untaxable Income" came from but gave no real clue as to what it might be. I spent 45 minutes on hold and was finally connected to a guy who sounded like he had marbles in his mouth when he spoke and had to keep putting me on hold sold he could ask somebody else what to do. Twenty minutes later, he still was clueless so I hung up. I finally figured it out on my own.
Cons: Hard to fix issues
Pros: Easy to import

Carryover from previous year worked well and saved a lot of time. Interview method of data entry seemed improved over past years. When the price of tax preparation has been increasing over the years, it's nice to have a good product like this available at a fair price to depend upon.The only problems were some difficulty with multiple copies of form 2116 (foreign tax credit) and it wasn't clear that providing a drivers license number was completely optional in our state.
Cons: Time consuming
Pros: Easy to prepare

I usually purchase the TurboTax software, but this year your software was the only disc left so we purchased it instead. I'm so glad I did, in the past when I used TurboTax, I always had to mail my taxes in, this is the first time I've been able to E-file, a great tool!!!
