Almost perfect

As in the past, I found the software easy to use. But this year I had to report a merger and I found nothing in the software to help me know what to include.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have used H&R Block for many years

This year my state income tax filing was rejected. The HRB calculation for non-resident income was rounded incorrectly within the software and I could not change without an override. Had to file on paper and lost the $ spent to send the return electronically. Real hassle.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to fix issues

Child and Dependent Care Providers

I cannot believe that there has not been an update to enter more than 4 providers. As working parents who put their child in various summer camps, I think this is unacceptable. It is inconvenient to have to print out and mail the return to attach the "additional list" of providers. And I do not feel comfortable mailing my return with all of our social security numbers. You also have to wait longer to get a refund if that is applicable. If you can enter numerous deductions for charitable contributions, there should be a way to enter more than 4 child care providers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

not happy with how long it took for get this done..have been filing on line for years.. and this took the longest to get it done..and still have to mail in state return.
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues

This was my first experience with any tax software product. My disappointment is that I didn't use it in prior years because I see all the deductions that I could have taken in years past. I particularly liked the Deduction Pro lists.
It was somewhat maddening to get help through the FAQ process, and I was able to online chat with a representative concerning the validation segment. I had to hang up waiting for a human, however, because the hold was way too long.
