Has bugs that can really frustrate, complicate and cause extra work.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to import, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to fix issues, Hard to prepare

Filing Amendment Process Too Poor To Follow

I needed to file an amendment simply to add one exemption. Very confusing software. I finally downloaded the forms from IRS and state websites and submitted manually. I am very disappointed with H&R block.
Pros: Easy to install

I have been using H&R Block software for numerous years. It is easy to use and really self-explanatory. Using H&R software has resulted in no IRS audits in the last several years. The 1st time I used the competition 's product I was audited! I will use H&R until I don't have to file anymore.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
I would recommend this to a friend!

I tried to check the status of my efile and was sent in an endless loop to check my hr block efile status check, then fill in my personal info and then back to the hr block efile status check again.
Cons: Time consuming
Pros: Easy to install
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased earlier this year. Filed an extension in April. Tried to complete 2016's filing before 10/16 deadline. However, required updates would never resolve issues. Had to file a "Draft Form - Do Not File" and never could gain access to the state filing. As a long time user of your software (over 10years), this is a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, this is not the first time. I am forced to reconsider my loyalty.
Cons: Hard to fix issues

Not a product designed for home use. Despite this being my third year with this product. I was unable to complete 2006 return.
