Somehow we can't retrieve our 2017 tax return as prepared on H&R Block Tax Cut software. Can't figure out if we have to reinstall the software in order to view it. We did print it out, but the final AGI on our paper copy must not have matched the one on the TaxCut program when our 2017 info transferred to the 2018 program (off by $9). Still would recommend, but very puzzled about this. Would have given 5 stars if we could find the 2017 return on our computer!
Is there something wrong with the calculation that you set up? Because the last year return that I have to [at the payment back to IRS and State (about $304.00) and those amount were very closed. However, this year the IRS got refund ($125)and the State got a payment (- $637). One is positive and other is negative. Those amount's gap were so big. Is there something went wrong on your calculation???
There's a reason I have used H&R Block tax preparation software since day one. It works! Plus the process is readily navigable and just about the easiest way to do taxes, including going to an accountant. Makes a painful process a lot more painless.
The filing part at the end, review and sign gets a little confusing. Filing both Federal and State e-file gets more confusing. Year before last I e-filed state, they took the money, And did not file. 2 months later I got a State notice and a penalty.. Got to be a better way.
