Easy to follow

I entered all my Federal info and then downloaded the state tax software. After the download I saved my tax info and returned later to fill out the state forms only to find that all of my fed tax info was gone. I had to delete the original software and reload and once again enter all my fed info plus download state software. Not Good.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import
Cons: Hard to fix issues

Horrible Experience

First time ever using HR Block software in all my years of filling taxes, and this will be my last. The software is extremely laggy on a modern day gaming PC. Instructions were very poor, software had a lot of features not needed for a basic filing. Biggest issue is the software isn't even complete shows that it will get software upgrade weeks after being out, Feb 2nd. Can't even file an amend due to the 1040x isn't even in the software yet for 2017. Had an error in my filing which I am almost certain the software did as my fiance was double checking all inputs and she is even claiming I inputted the item in question correctly.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues, Hard to prepare

I work at Best Buy and got a good deal on this software. Not happy at all !! Confusing and much more difficult than using app. Charged me twice for filing state. Not happy !

I purchased the deluxe edition, what a joke. After completing my return, your program wouldn’t let me file because my software needed to be updated, but that update wasn’t available for 7 days. This delay in filling caused me to not getting my return filed before the Government shut down.
