Helpful and better than last year.

I appreciate the extra messages explaining how to proceed but wish the print was larger. I have bifocals and it was aggravating trying to read the print.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import

We have used this software for many years now and we wouldn't consider changing. It is self explanatory and easy as pie. I like the way it keeps you from making errors by calling your attention to possible mistakes. It seems to be fool proof.

Used Turbo Tax for 10+ years. Really got tired of their pricing structure and extra costs for items. The interview process was cumbersome and long. Tried H&R Block for past three years. Like it much better than Turbo Tax. Pricing structure is fair and includes 5 free Federal files. The interview process is streamlined and clean and intuitive in most cases. I only gave four stars because it was not able to handle a commons social security issue for when you receive a lump sum payment for previous years. I had to go to the IRS to find worksheet for Publication 915, manually fill it in, and then return to the software and enter the results. I am glad I did because it saved me about $500 in taxes. It would be nice if this function was included in the deluxe software.

The only confusion that I experiences was when an employer gave a 1095B instead of the 1095C and I couldn't find anywhere that described the difference.

I have been using this software for several years now and I love how easy it is to use. The software guides you through each step and reminds you to enter information if you leave something out.
Pros: Easy to prepare
