I started using H&R Block a few years back after "That other" missed several key deductions that applied to me on my State return. Hasn't happened since, and is MUCH easier to use.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Fast

I've used H&R Block tax preparation products for many years. It is very easy to use and the support is great. My only request would be that the state filing fee be eliminated because there is already an additional cost to purchase the deluxe package software over the basic package.

had an issue with a calculation made by the program and contacted tech support. they were very helpful and the issue was resolved promptly. Never had any issues before and was very happy how quickly this was resolved. It was my error.

I was very disappointed that before I could even start my return (after I had purchased the software) a screen for something about signing up for surveys (not having to do with taxes) There was no opt-out feature. Very frustrating. I had to sign up for something I didn't want just to file my return.
