Great feature and great values.

I have been using the software for three years now, and the software is easy to use and served my needs. I had difficulty to transfer my info from Turbo Tax and info from H$R Block previous year. Other than that the software is outstanding.
Cons: Hard to import
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Error in program

Nice program except for this. On a W2, if one enters the verification form, the program automatically inserts hyphens into the code. The IRS rejected my filing because of this. Tried to "delete" and "back space" the hyphens out of the code, then a sign comes up and tells me "You have entered an invalid verification code. So I deleted the entire code since it was optional and resent it all to IRS. Warning to others, do not add the verification form.
Cons: Hard to fix issues
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Worst year!

I have used this program for many years. I have always enjoyed it. This year is different! I completed and filed my taxes. State taxes say I have to wait for an update to file. This date has changed. Now I can't even get into my taxes on your program! Every time I try it tells me I can not open it till updates are installed. Updates say there are no updates everything is up to date! Why can't I open my tax file on your program?? I am so very frustrated! I think I will be trying a different program next year!
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought it in the fall when Block sent me a disk. I have used professional software as a volunteer tax preparer. HR Block is so much easier and provides excellent help and confidence builders. It worked perfectly for me, I have additional family returns to do so the 5 free Federal e-files is great.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare

I have used H &R Block software for five years. Since my dad died four years ago from Lou Gherig's Disease, we were left to our own tax preparation; he was an attorney with tax law specialty. He recommended H &R Block. I was unsure of refinancing issues of tax reporting, and the software was very helpful.
We were able to file state and federal with no troubles.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast
