Amazing!!!!!!!!!

I have been using HR Block ta program for over 8 years, I started with Turbo Tax and that program was confusing. I will continue to use HR Block.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast

I have used the deluxe version of the software for several years now. I have never had any difficulty with importing the information from the previous year. If I have a question, the help features make it plain as to how I should respond. My tax situation is fairly simple, and the program has many features which I really don't need, but with a little experience, you can go through the screens quite rapidly. I think this software would handle 99% of possible returns, and I recommend it very highly.

Better than Turbo Tax

I have used TurboTax for the past few years and thought it did a pretty good job, and it did, but I decided to try H&R Block's tax software this year. My primary reservation was whether or not I would be able to retrieve my previous years filing information; saves time. H&R was able to do that, but it took me some time to figure it out. It was easy once I got to the right spot in the menu, but I missed the point in my initial launch and had to restart. This is the only reason I did not give this a 5-star rating.
Cons: Hard to import
Pros: Easy to prepare

This was the first year I sold stock, and it was very easy to include this on our tax return. I would suggest more lines for charities, as you cannot add additional charities once you run out of lines. It would also be nice to have a physical phone number listing in the software, at the top of the pages, so we don't have to dig hard to find a human to speak to. I will use H&R block again next year (did last year too). Thank you for making this tax preparation as painless as can be!

Great customer service

I've been using H&R Block software since 2009 and have never had a problem. This year unfortunately I ran into a snag during the download process. I called customer service and the tech stayed on the line with me for an hour helping me through the problem. She was polite and helpful and stayed with me until it was resolved. Very happy with the customer service. Thanks, Ashley!!

I am not happy with this software. I filed 2 returns , one for me and 1 for my son. Only 1 return was saved, the 2nd return was saved.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
