15 years with H&R Block

Starting with TaxCut, I've used H&R Block products to file my taxes. I like how it pulls info from old returns and interfaces seamlessly with other accounting software. Easy, efficient, accurate, easy to e-file.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Easy to use

Used basic version for 2016 on W10. Experienced zero problems. SW caught my failure to enter a Payer Federal ID Number. This was 5th year I've used this SW, never had a problem.
Pros: Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare

Problems with some of the forms

While I believe that the final numbers are correct, I had to make false entries in order to e-file. Also, I do not think that program prints all of the forms

I couldn't figure out how to do the health care part and finally just looked at a print copy of the IRS 1040, which was simple.

H&R Block Taxcut is a terrific software program for filing federal and state taxes. Been using is for at least a decade.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

I think it could be a little more user friendly when you want to stop (quit) and save.

Bought this program because it is compatible with my computer windows 7.It won't let me print the final copy for mailing. The print has draft form written all over it. I don't want all this other stuff you are advertising I won't buy this again

I've used this software for many years and will do so in the future. However, there is an obscure bug that kept a 1099 form imbedded in my schedule c even after I deleted the 1099 form. It took me having to delete the entire business (wouldn't just let me kill the form). The 4+ hours to redo a business that included depreciation on many assets, business use of home, etc was a huge frustration.
Cons: Hard to fix issues
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to import
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
