I have been using H&R software to prepare taxes for several years now, never had an issue. All aspects of how to record earnings and deductions including investments and expenses like relocation costs are explained in simple terms. As a citizen living outside the US this is the best tool I have as I cannot see a tax professional in person.

If all I have is Social Security, interest & a pension it would be nice to have an EZ option. I spend more time clicking through endless screens that don't remotely apply to me than actually entering necessary info. I do like that the program pulls info from the previous year's return & all I have to do is update the amounts. I could knock the whole thing out in 10 minutes. You could just let me choose standard deduction to start with & not ask about so many things to see if I have the choice. I haven't since the 1970's.

I normally use TurboTax, but this year there program would not run on my operating system, did not want to upgrade computer, so used H&R Block. It was difficult to navigate. May be just to use to other program , hopefully be better next year?????
