The program imported $0 for my 2016 AGI... causing delay, and additional expense of time.

Probable program bug

First pass - properly entered IRA, but RMD not honored and 50% penalty applied.
Deleted IRA and reentered same IRA. Second pass - same problem. Apparently, that item was flagged as not paid in the back ground and not easily corrected.

I have done taxes before on different tax prep sites and this was the worst experience. the chat is worthless they just keep directing you somewhere else without answering questions. will never buy again

Very good program

I used your program for the first time last year for 2016. I came back for 2017. It is WAY BETTER than Turbo Tax which I have used for many years.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thanks. I have used the software successfully for 10 years without any issues. Not this year. I'll print the forms and mail them in. Where is FORM 5498 SA????

The data imported from last year’s records cost me the ability to e-file. How do I get a refund for this useless software?

H&R Block Basic 2017 Software

I have been using H&R Block Basic Software for many years, and I have been completely satisfied with the product.. This version was not as good as the past versions. Since our return is so simple, we have few questions. But when we do, looking at various sites to find the information was time consuming. I doubt I will purchase Tax Cut again. I will try another software next year, but if it is not better than your basic version I will bypass buying tax software.

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues, Hard to prepare
