I have used the federal version for my personal (married filing jointly) income tax return for several years now. Easy to use and covers all possible tax scenarios. It will not let you file if you have made an error, however, I prefer to keystroke in my W-2 info rather than use the phone camera feature, since one time, it didn't include all my data as listed on the W-2. I always purchase it as early as possible since that is when the price is the most competitive.
I have used for several years. I have been having a problem with some of the support pages are too long i.e. they have 70 lines verses 66 per page, some of the lines try to write on the bottom edge of the page. One year the QCD entry did not show of the copy of my return when it was sent to the IRS. The IRS sent me a letter stating that filing was incorrect because they didn't see the $$$ I sent in the QCD. Last year I kept getting... that I cant file because they had a new update coming a week or two later. T bought Turbo Tax and filed right away.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
only software I have ever used where I got denied from IRS for electronic file over and over again, had to mail in physically, didn't calculate my capital gains correctly according to IRS
