Easy to use

We have been using this software for years and glad it is so easy to use and understand. It makes the complex tax laws easy for a lay person.

AGI question

I used the software to do 2 friends tax returns (3 years to date) This year both were rejected by IRS for FD-32-IND-031-04. Since I have their last years return, I verified the AGI, but the returns are rejected.
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this online and found it to be helpful in taking care of my needs to meet the Tax Issues.
Not a legal representative but managed to get through it.

Something happened. The IRS rejected my e-file return for 2021 tax year. The reason was a totally bogus reason. The reason stated was "Your spouse's prior year adjusted gross income (AGI) doesn't match IRS records." This is a bogus reason because my wife and I always file a joint return. Thus there is only a combined AGI for 2020 and also for 2021. When I e-filed for 2021 today I definitely used the correct 2020 AGI from our 2020 tax return. So why is the IRS thinking that my wife and I filed separate returns last year. Either the IRS has made a mistake or a mistake occurred in our e-file. Now I have to file by paper.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

On the federal return under "credits" the instructions for entering your third stimulus payment as indicated on IRS letter 6475 are wrong resulting in an incorrect stated refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can't live without it!

I've been using this program for over twenty years I think. Maybe 30? Early 1990's It used to be called "TaxCut" back in the day. :) Every season it seems to have a couple little bugs but, again, I couldn't live without it. The few times I've needed customer service they've been great. Hard to find that these days. Thank you! Now if we could just get the government to quit screwing around with the tax laws we'd be all set! Thanks again!
