I could not determine how to report some interest so I listed it as other income. I have found also that when listing non-taxable interest it gets added in as income.

It’s as good as good or better than Turbo Tax, with the extra advantage of a connection with a local branch office.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents

Went through the final “Error Check” that’s purported to make certain there are Zero errors...As of 01/14/2022 my return is held due to a simple mathematical numerical error..that was not supposed to happen. Accepted and sent 03/21/2021.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

IRS accepting tax forms Jan 24 I still can't send mine in till Feb 3. WHY?
Cons: Time consuming

I have been doing my own taxes with the help of H&R Block for 4 years. I was scared at first because I always paid someone to do it, but I have a straight forward, no dependents, mortgage and property taxes. There are helpful hints along the way if you are unsure of the question. The following years is even easier since H&B has your info on file.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
