i've used it for the last 15 years and never had an audit probem. well laid out and easy to use.
plus imports the previous tax years data and makes tax season so much easier. also the 5 free e-filings are great. i do my ex- wife 2 kids and mine that makes 4 e-filings without going
thru snail mail.

I've used Tax Cut in the past, and it's similar. But I like the Block name and it's at the same or lower cost. The basic + efile makes filing easy and tells you what's going on and what to expect. It also takes care of interest/dividends and other common issues.

Follow the simple instructions; insert the correct data; run the basic review at the end, and you're done! It's a simple as that. Most of your potential problems are settled along the way, but, of course, if you have a need to speak to a live person, it could take a very long time to get one.

Too many problems connecting with the HRBlock server. Routing and account numbers show on screen but not in printed copy.
Cons: Time consuming
