Everything eas good until it told me to update in order to submit. It churned my wife's card 4 times.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Glitches

As everyone knows, tax software is amazing. I have been using it for as long as i can remember. But there were a couple snags which ruined the experience. One was when i was told AFTER SUBMITTING ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, and saw the return being sent, that i needed to update the software "before e-filing can be completed" Sounds easy right? Well what if you are using your employer-provided laptop, and an administrator has to authorize all software updates. That set me back, caused me to re-enter my credit card info more than once.
Then in the return itself there was a glitch in calculating my possible underpayment penalty. I had to pay for a human to tell me to just delete form 2210 and let the IRS figure it out. Annoying

I gave it four stars because it didn't prompt me to total my capital improvements in a taxable property I sold (a vacation home). It just asked for the cost basis. I know that would include capital improvements I made over the 40 years that I owned the place, so I was OK, but someone who didn't know to do that might've simply entered the original purchase price and thus over paid.
