Lots of great features

I have been using H&R blocks tax software before they changed their name from TaxCut. It answers and fills out your return based on how you fill out your return by taking you down a question and answer path based of that. It even completes the EIC portion for you. I love it.

Gets tax filing done with a minimum of fuss

I have been using H&R Block tax software for years. Why? It provides an excellent balance between cost and benefits. I live in Germany and find that for about 95% of my needs everything is straightforward. The remaining 5% deals with the foreign income exclusion and foreign tax credit issues.
This year I decided to try e-file. But, as my German wife has not SSN nor is interested in getting an TIN this path is blocked. So off to the post and snail mail! However, this is not a fault of the software which explained the problem and provided work arounds.

H&R block is the BEST tax software available! I have used other products (i.e.taxturbo) and no other program has been easier to use and provide the best possible return. I highly recommend H&R block tax software every year!
