Easy to use and cheap

I've been using H&R Block Basic for many years, back when it was called Tax Cut from Microsoft. It's easy to use and cheap. One year I used Turbo Tax instead. I like the user interface of Turbo Tax better but it costs twice as much. The only thing I dislike about H&R Block is the rounding of numbers. I have many stock transactions that are less than $1. The rounding turns them into a profit or loss of $1. I know this is small. But I want them to be as accurate as possible. Also, it is easier for me to double check the amounts against my documents if they are not rounded off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using this product for over a decade and very happy with its features. It imports all necessary data from our mutual funds investments and processes it efficiently ... never questioned by IRS.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Does the Federal return for the whole family

I've used H&R block software for years, so I generally like it. Two issues I have with it: 1) sometimes it's hard to tell where a calculation is originated, and 2) I can't print a select page of a form.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought it when the deadline is approaching and finished filling quickly. Great tool!

Would make it easier if you advised of new standard deduction of $26,600 before starting to fill out all the usual deduction info.

H&R Block Basic 2018 - Easy to Use

I bought this last night and was able to complete and file my return online within a few hours. So easy to use. I tried an online tax software and ran into all kinds of problems. This software is very easy to follow, review and go back to different spots in the return. Highly Recommended !!!! :)
