Great first time experience

First time doing the returns in my home. It was very detail and great return. Saved a lot of money and time. A next year customer for sure.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
Pros: Easy to prepare

I've been using H&R tax software since 1999. I switched from Turbo Tax back then and was able to import their previous year's tax information into the current year's without a hitch, and have been doing that ever since. For the previous eight years the basic software has handled everything, including following the depreciation on my farm tractor, stocks, business income, everything.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Easy to import, Fast

My taxes should have been extremely simple. We are retired and claim the standard deduction. I thought I was all done and ready to send my tax report off. But the program asked me to review one item. From then on I was not able to correct??? anything. NO STARS
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Generally easy to use

I bought this today because of my positive experience last year. While the return itself was simple, I found the verification step a bit confusing. At the end (I think) I got it right. I'd recommend this product to my family and friends.
