Just purchased my 2nd and 3rd this year and there is a grinding sound when it boots up. It goes away for a bit and then will start grinding again. Bearings on a fan maybe? I don't know. I just know that I am not looking forward to contacting support again because the last time was a complete nightmare. And I have purchased 3 HP Laptops this year and 2 out of 3 had issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The laptop has a gorgeous 4K screen and I love the face unlock. It is large which is exactly what I wanted and fast. Too bad the the unexpected delay in shipping ruined my opinion...An extra 10 days
